Before

Where it all started.

Nikhil has posted on Instagram for four years, and worked in real estate for three. He made real estate content, but he felt Instagram wasn't pushing it. In those three years, he says, nobody recognised him, even in the field where he is the expert.

He was only showing one side of himself, the realtor. He wasn't enjoying his content either. After August 2025 he didn't post anything for two months, and he says he was close to giving up.

He had calls with the team, including Parul and Shivansh. Shivansh's advice was simple: you never know what will work, so keep doing it. He took it to heart. "Just keep doing it is the only way," he says.

What changed

What made the difference.

1

Talking about Pune, not just property

Instead of only real estate, he started telling people about Pune as a city and what they can do there. His audience is people living in Pune, and that is the same audience he wants to sell homes to.

2

A format that repeats

His "top three" and "top five" places format worked really well, so he kept making it. He visits cafes and other places across the city and shares the best ones.

3

Thinking from first principles

He asked himself who he is beyond being a realtor. He travels across Pune and goes to cafes and five-star places. "I need to create a content that I also enjoy," he says.

4

Posting through the doubt

He was close to giving up, but he chose to keep going and just post, even if it was raw.

Results

Where things stand now.

In the last three months Nikhil grew from about 6K to 22,000 followers. People now recognise him at cafes and temples around Pune. The first time it happened, someone at a cafe told him they loved his content. "This is something magical that happened after 4 years," he says.

His videos travel by word of mouth. People in real estate tell him they shared his content with their wives. Friends call to say their wives are sharing it. Even his employees tell him their friends send them his reels.

He gets queries every week, and even more brand deals than queries. A shirt company wanted 30 days of ad rights, and a big rental car brand reached out. He says he is getting paid well, and now has choices about which deals to pick. When he looked at his audience, 80 to 85% were aged 25 and above, which he says is the right age for someone buying property.

Most of all, he now has recall value. His next goal is 100K followers by 31 December, and the authority to go with it.

These are Nikhil's own numbers, shared with permission. Results depend on each member's effort, niche and starting point.

Questions

Asked about this story.

How long did it take Nikhil to see results?

He posted for four years. The jump came from May 2026, and in the last three months he grew from about 6K to 22,000 followers.

Why did a realtor start posting about cafes?

He felt Instagram wasn't pushing his real estate content. His audience is people living in Pune, so he started talking about the city itself. He enjoys making it, and it reaches the same people who buy property.

Has it helped his business?

He gets queries every week, brand deals from a shirt company and a rental car brand, and people now remember him. He says he finally has recall value he didn't have before.

What kept him going when it wasn't working?

Calls with the team. Shivansh told him you never know what will work, so keep doing it. He decided to just keep doing it.
